Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Announces Teen Volunteer Five Star Volunteer Achievement Award Winner

Hudson, FL (August 14, 2009) - On August 8, the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Volunteer Organization announced the winner of their “5 Star Teen Volunteer of the Year Award”. The award was presented as part of the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Points’ Annual Teen Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon & Awards Ceremony.

Jamie Servidio is the recipient of the 2009 5 Star Teen Volunteer of the Year award. Jamie started volunteering in June 2007 and has 423.13 actual hours. She is very soft-spoken, very friendly, very courteous and helpful to patients, visitors and other volunteers. Jamie has the ability to shift back and forth between two different positions (Welcome Center A and Courier) seamlessly as the need arises. From the very beginning Jamie was willing to volunteer on one of the hardest shifts to fill, Sunday mornings. Adults and her peers enjoy working with Jamie because of her demeanor and leadership abilities.
